We are committed to developing and retaining the very best lawyers. We want you to reach your potential as an outstanding legal practitioner. We offer a comprehensive pupillage program in Malaysia. Considerable time, effort and costs are also invested to help our lawyers develop their skills, knowledge and level of practice.
As a graduate, you will begin with an induction to our firm. You will be assigned a pupil master, to whom you will regularly report and meet to discuss your progress, as well as a peer mentor. You will have the opportunity to rotate through our core areas of practice. In-house training and seminars will be made available to pupils.
You will have the opportunity to do detailed legal work under supervision. The development of practical legal structuring, drafting and advisory skills, coupled with constructive feedback on and assessment of your individual performance, form the core of our training process. We will also involve you in our regular marketing and social functions, important components of our Firm's culture. Your legal career does not begin only when you are called to the Bar - from the first day of pupillage, you become very much a part of our Firm.
We invite you to share our vision and join us in our journey in developing a dynamic legal practice in the region.
Applicants should write in, enclosing a resume with a recent passport-sized photograph, detailing grades from "O" levels and up, university results, extra-curricular activities records, any awards, prizes or scholarships, and final year subject options. Please address your Curriculum Vitae to the attention of Mr. Asmet Nasruddin and state “Pupillage Application” in the top left hand corner of the envelope. Alternatively, you may forward the same by email to recruitment-pupils@taypartners.com.my.
