Jia Hui specialises in asset financing and leasing with particular emphasis in the aviation industry. She has represented commercial airlines, financial institutions, lessors and credit support providers in various lease and finance transactions as well as related regulatory matters. Her transaction experience includes cross border secured debt financing, export credit agency supported financings, finance and operating leases, sale and leaseback transactions and individual aircraft acquisitions.
Jia Hui also has extensive experience in banking and finance related matters. She has acted in complexed loan syndication transactions, securitisations and the issuance of debt capital market instruments in both conventional and Islamic structures.
Jia Hui read law at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. She was admitted as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2006 and was called to the Roll of Solicitors in England and Wales in 2009.
Jia Hui has contributed articles to LegalTAPS, a newsletter issued by the firm. She also played a role in the contribution of articles to renowned publications such as the Asian Legal Business, Asian Counsel, Chambers Asia-Pacific and the In-House Community’s In-House Handbook.
