Wai Sum has extensive experience for practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, IPO, real estate and banking matters.
Her most recent projects include a listing of a Malaysian group on the ISDX Growth Market in London. She has been involved in the listing of a structural steel specialist company with major projects in the GCC countries and other IPOs on the Main Market and ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia. She acts regularly as Malaysian counsel for IPOs on Singapore Exchange and Hong Kong Exchange involving Malaysian assets and companies.
Wai Sum has also advised on international credit facilities with major security located in Malaysia.
Wai Sum graduated from University of Malaya with an LL.B (Hons) (Second Class Upper) in 2002 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2003. She attained her Master of Law (LL.M) from the University of Melbourne in 2009.
